Venom Racing History

Venom Racing was formed in 2005 and was one of the first teams to sign up for the newly classified Nostalgia Fuel Altered category. The Nostalgia Fuel Altered Association (NFAA) (www.nfaa.info) was formed to encourage old school Fuel Altered cars to race, which up to this point had no official classification and therefore could not compete. The Nostalgia Fuel Altered cars brought something new and exciting to the already popular drag race events, being older looking cars accelerating from a standing start to 100mph in less than 1 second, something that needs to be seen to be believed!

There have been a number of cars that represent Venom Racing ranging from the Model T Ford to the current car a classic 1971 Chevrolet Camaro.

1927 Model T Ford on nitro broke many NFAA records

1938 Fiat Topolino, everyone’s favourite and attained the NFAA nitro records

34 Ford Coupe

Classic 1971 Chevrolet Camaro SS competing in the Nostalgia Funny Car class and which has run a European record of 250 MPH and 5.895 ET
